On the occassion of 74 th Independent Day the members of the Assam Jogging Association hoisted the Tricolour at the premises of Janata Bhawan Play Ground, Guwahati at 7.30 AM today. The national flag was hoisted by the President of the Association Geetartha Pathak in presence of General Secretary Tapan Dutta and Vice President Satyen Haloi. The President said that the association could not hold the knock out football tournament this year on the independent day which was organised by the association every year in the Janata Bhawan Play Ground. However Pathak said that the tournament is postponed only and it will be held as soon as the administration lifts all the restriction imposed to contain Covid-19.
