Today Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb also visited Unokoti district and enquired about Covid-19 related problems and preparedness.
He also declared that the old district hospital at kailasahar will be converted into a dedicated Covid Care hospital within three days which will have dialysis and CT Scan facilities.
He also visited Covid Care Centre at Kumarghat.
Moreover a bunch of new measures were taken to tackle the present pandemic in the state.These includes incentive of Rs 1500 to patients under home isolation.
Treatment at home and surveillance will be done by teams of young IAS officers and doctors.
