Indo Bangla ship trial run on first week of September

Tripura’s Sonamura floating Jetty is ready to receive first ship from Daudkandi Bangladesh.
In a historic event first ship trial run between Bangladesh and India is to be conducted in first week of September in Tripura.

Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb earlier in a tweet declared that Bangladesh inland water transport authority has given permission for trial run of voyage from Daundkandi (Cumilla), Bangladesh to Sonamura of Tripura via Gomati river.

The trial run is scheduled on september this year during which 50MT cement will be transported to Tripura through waterways from Bangladesh.
