Tripura Traffic police has fastracked all measures for road safety and to prevent road traffic accidents.
Now it is made compulsory to wear helmet not only for driver but also for the pillion rider from 1st september 2020.
Violation of traffic rules will attract a fine and driving license suspension for three months as per Motor Vehicle Act.
Traffic police revamped patrolling in various important places in the city today. It has also initiated a awareness campaign to make people more concerned on road safety and traffic rules.
