Tripura police confiscated a consignment of dried ganja worth Rs. 15 lakh and detained two persons during a raid at a ganja processing unit in Chelikhala area under Bishalgarh police station.
Based on secret information police confiscated approx 200 kgs of dry ganja contained in 18 no’s of packets, one packeting machine and three bikes from a rubber garden at Chilikhola Jungle area under Bishalgarh PS.

The recovered contraband items along with the machine and bikes have been seized by Police.
Two persons – Manik Rudra Pal and Biswajit Rudra Pal, both belonging from
Chalikholaa, Bishalgarh have been arrested by Police in this connection.
A specific case under NDPS Act is being registered in BLG PS in this regard.
