Tripura Pradesh Congress undertook silent Satyagraha program today in front of Congress Bhawan Agartala in protest against Hathras incident. The party strongly condemned manhandling of Ex AICC president Rahul Gandhi and AICC Gen Secretary Priyanka Gandhi.The protest was held under the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s statue at Agartala Congress Bhawan.Tripura Pradesh Congress President Pijush Kanti Biswas criticised UP CM Yogi Adityanath and BJP over the Hathras incident. He was also vocal against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not taking any action in giving justice to the victim.
