In a massive seizure by the police in Tripura, the State Police seized ganja (cannabis), weighing 1200 kilograms.
The consignment of ganja was being transported in an oil tanker.

Based on information received, the police conducted an operation at Churaibari area and seized 60 packets of cannabis from inside the oil tanker, Northern District Superintendent of Police Bhanupada Chakraborty said.
According to the police, the seized cannabis is worth one crore and 20 lakh rupees.
