Dhalai district is the most undevelepoed distirct in Tripura and most of its population are tribals.
Recently Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb had requested to the rail ministry of GOI for providing health facilities to the people of remotest parts of dhalai through IMPACT INDIA LIFELINE EXPRESS.
Responding to the request the Life line express has reached Ambassa railway station. It has started medical check-ups from Thursday.
Various diseases of eyes and other diseases will be treated by specialist doctors and medicines will also be distributed and at no cost.
The train will stay at the rail station for next 1 month providing medical facilities.
The initiative was started on Thursday through a program inaugurated by MP of North Tripura Revati Tripura.
Among the others present in the program were MLA of 47 Ambassa Assembly Parimal Debbarma, Officers of Rail Dept and Administrative personals.
