Maharaja Pradyot Manikya Kishore Deb Barman has given a deadline of seven days to the Tripura State Govt to arrest the culprits behind the death of fireman Biswajit Debbarma at Panisagar.
He also declared that he will hold protests if the culprits are not identified within seven days.

However he informed that the protests will be peaceful.
When asked about the ADC elections,he clearly rejected the idea of his merger with any national party.
He is supporting the idea of the local parties fighting as one under one umbrella.
