Election to the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council notified

Agartala, 4 April
The Tripura state election commission has notified election to the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council .The Polling is scheduled to be held on 6th April 2021.
To ensure peaceful campaigning by Political parties and also Smooth, Free and Fair Polls, the Police Department has made adequate security arrangement.

61 Police Stations are falling within the Poll bound areas of the State.

Vehicular patrolling has been arranged under all 61 Police Stations by deploying 168 light vehicles.

210 Police Sector Officers have also been appointed to facilitate smooth conduct of polls.

Vehicle borne escorts have been provided to the Election Observers, Leaders of recognized political parties and PSOs to Contesting Candidates.

Adequate security arrangements have also been made for the guarding of strong Rooms by the govt.

In addition Police and TSR personnel of local Police Stations are performing routine patrolling, vehicle checking and taking preventive measures including execution of warrants of arrests.

Necessary arrangements are also in place for escorting Polling Staff, Polling materials and Guarding of Polling Stations in c/w the ADC Elections

16 Companies of CRPF, 5684 TSR personnel, 3435 Police and 263 Home Guards personnel have been mobilised for the purpose of Smooth, Free and Fair Election to the TTAADC.
