Pandi FC Kampur Champion of the Independence Day Knock out Football tournament of Assam Jogging Association

Pandi FC of Kampur has become the champion winning the Golap Chandra Kalita and Kanaklata Kalita Memorial Trophy and Shankar FC of Saukuchi, Guwahati has become runners up winning the Lakheswari Deka and Keshab Chandra Deka Memorial Trophy of Independence Day Knock out Football tournament organised by Assam Jogging Association on August 15 & 27, 2025. The tournament was held at the Janata Bhawan Play ground near the Assam State Secretariat.
The tournament was kicked off by the Chairman of Assam State Schedule Caste Corporation Jayanta Kumar Das. tThe tricolour flag was hoisted by Jayanta Kr Das. The Chied Guest Brigadier S Prasad was present vin the flag hoisting ceremony, he has given an inspiring speech to the younger generations appealing them to come forward for sports events. The donor of the Champion trophy is Arup Kr Kalita and the runners up trophy by Durlabh Deka. The player of the tournament has gone the Alok Kumar Thakur goalkeeper of Pandi FC.
