Schools, colleges and universities are declared closed for indefinite period due to coronavirus outbreak by the Tripura government.
The Tripura government on Friday decided to suspend all private and government schools of Tripura for an indefinite period in view of the coronavirus threat.
Due to the surges in the number of Covid cases in the state, it has been decided that from 17.04.2021 all the classes of schools, colleges and universities which are under the state government (Including private institutions) would remain closed until further order.
Only the pre decided exams will be conducted as per schedule with necessary staff attendance as per requirement on exam days and on other days with 50% staff attendance, by maintaining proper social distancing and other precautionary measures.
Online classes will continue.
Education minister Ratan Lal Nath in his Facebook post informed this.
