A delegation of Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI (M) MLAs led by former Chief Minister of tthe state met the Governor of Tripura Ramesh Bais today.

The former Tripura CM criticised the BJP-IPFT government in the state, alleging that they handed state over to miscreants.

The Left MLAs led by Manik Sarkar met the Governor to discuss the current situation and the rise in the number of attacks on opposition leaders and activists.

“Since the BJP government came to power, we have met government ministers and chief ministers on various issues, but it did not work out so we rushed to meet the Governor to apprise on the situation in hand,” Sarkar said.
