The police on Friday recovered the body of Liton Nath from a forest near Manachara in North Tripura district.
The police had failed to rescue him even after 45 days of his abduction.
According to police sources, NLFT cadres after abducting Nath, had murdered him and buried his body in the forest.

The police have sent the body for post mortem at a hospital in the Panisagar sub-division.
