BJP reorganized it’s state committee
BJP President Ranjit Kumar Das announces the reorganized state committee.
The new executive committee of BJP for Assam has eight vice-presidents and four general secretaries among others.
The State President of BJP Mr.Das said on Tuesday the party has inducted more woman leaders in the new executive committee.
Hemaprabha Borthakur, Bijuli Kalita Medhi, Rekharani Das Boro, Swapnanil Baruah, Ratan Teron, Pulak Gohain, Jayanta Das and Jayanta Malla Baruah were appointed as the party’s vice-presidents in the state. While Silchar MP Rajdeep Roy, Jorhat MP Topon Kr Gogoi, Tezpur MP Pallab Lochan Das and Phanindra Nath Sharma were appointed as general secretaries.
Rajkumar Sharma is the new treasurer of the state committee of the party.
The new appointees also includes nine secretaries besides presidents of Yuba Morcha and Mahila Morcha. According to party norms the general secretaries cannot contest the coming assembly elections, Mr, Das said.
